It was easy to add to the system. This is the 5th phone in an existing Panasonic system. Also, purchasing through Amazon was an easy experience.
Most importantly, it does not interfere with our Wifi. I was able to use it right away by placing my ready supply of low discharge batteries from Sanyo=-neloop, Duracel or Rayovac. There is not too many useless buttons. I really love that it uses "AAA's" batteries (NiMh - make sure not to use regular alkalines) instead of a proprietary battery pack.
Just a bit pricy compared to competition. The redial button stores 5 recent numbers instead of one. Very easy to operate. I can walk throughout the whole house, from the basement to the second floor without any lost of signal (The house is a 3 level townhose). It operates in frequencies that does not interfere with baby monitors, microwave ovens, and other common household appliances. For me, this is a biggie. The charging base uses the same type of AC adapter that is used by the main base so there is no confusion for plugging the correct adapter.
It would be nicer if the bases are a little heavier for stability. Great reception, clear and powerful audio. This is my setup - I paired this device to our Ooma system which is wired to the back of a Linksys wireless N router. Button are big enough for ease of use.
We have four of these phones, our second time to own them over the past few years. Needed an extra phone and with no doubts ordered another one without switching brands.
I have to say this one is the best. Highly recommended. I had a couple of the panasonic phones in the past. I just recently bought additional handsets.
Great phone, The two units I purchased merged with the 4 I already had with no problem. These phone have a great speaker which helps when you have a hearing problem as I do.
